JULIA MARYANSKA, PHOTOGRAPHER
Julia is a filmmaker, video artist and photographer. She was born in Poland, and by a twist of fate, moved at a young age to the United States with her family. She has since lived in New York, Paris, and now San Francisco.
For the last 10 years, with camera in hand, she has been led by her insatiable curiosity for the sacred and the profane. This endeavor of "seeing" people has opened many doors – from sitting with the High Priestess of Bali to illegal immigrants and refugees living on the fringes of Paris.
Julia is trained in various communication modalities such as NLP, Circling, Council, and Forum. She has had the joy and privilege to work with numerous award-winning filmmakers and photographers and continuously creates her own body of work through film and photography.
Standing for women's empowerment, cross-cultural understanding and environmental sustainability, she is sure that with the merging of these three topics, we can make some good change on the planet. She believes there is no limit to the imagination, and creating beautiful, surreal imagery is one way to widen the lens on what we currently know is possible.
KIM IGLINSKY, CO-DIRECTOR/STYLIST
Kim’s life has been an epic international journey of self discovery and healing.
Born on a kibbutz in Israel to a British mother and an Israeli father, her childhood was unconventional.
Wanting to experience the world, as soon as she completed her mandatory 2 year army service, Kim moved to Milan to start her modeling career. For the most part of her 10 year career she was a top runway, editorial, and advertising model appearing in Vogue, Marie Claire, and Elle. During this time she worked with the most talented A-list designers and photographers in the world.
But, for all the money, fame, and fun her soul felt progressively more bankrupt until finally a life threatening, years long depression set in. The depression was aggravated by the tragic loss of her dear younger sister and 3 late term pregnancies. All this over the span of 6 years.
In service of saving her life, Kim left her modeling career and began a full time spiritual healing quest that would last the better part of 8 years.
Her journey included spending months at a time at Plum Village with Thich Nhat Hanh. Two years living and learning Kundalini Yoga in an ashram in San Francisco. Training in Ayurvedic medicine, as well as years of NLP, EFT, life coaching and NVC training and teachings. Working with Ayahuasca in Peru was also a key part of her transformation.
Today Kim uses what she learned during her dark night of the soul to develop innovative new methods that help others on their journey of healing and awakening. She leverages her experience as a fashion model and training in NLP and EFT to lead women through a process that reconnects them with their inner radiance, self worth, and love that culminates in a sensual surrealism photo shoot.
